 The Department “Taxes and Taxation” is responsible for the students on the threshold of graduation on specialty 1-  -  “Taxes and Taxation”, it is an educational-structural subdivision  of TSU LBP effectuating all kinds of educational, methodical, scientific and upbringing works with students and claimants for Master’s degree. The Department Taxes and Taxation is formed in pursuance with the resolution of the Learned Council of the University under № 10 from 30.06.2003 on the basis of the chair of finances and credit. The principal goal of the department “Taxes and Taxation” is a preparation of professional    specialists possessing profound knowledge needed for a solution of practical issues connected with application of tax legislation, tax administering, text planning in the field of taxation for tax bodies of the republic and subjects of economy. At the present moment candidate of the sciences of economics, Associate Professor M.M. Salimova, has been appointed vicarious department chief.

For the latest years new methods of teaching are introduced into educational process; scientific-research work being conducted successfully. Educational process is annually provided with renovated syllabus, educational-methodical complexes  reflecting the cotemporary state  of taxation. Scientific streamlines of department researches are connected with a perfection of tax legislation and an elaboration of practical recommendation for legislative bodies of Tajikistan Republic.

For September 1, 2017 the department musters 8 professors among whom there are: 5 Associate Professors, 1 candidate of economic sciences, two senior lecturers, 1 assistant; the standard of scientific indices averaging 62,5%.

The department supports close ties with Tax Committee under Tajikistan Republic Government, tax managerial office of Sughd viloyat; these institutions accept students for professional practice after which the latters are placed in jobs.
